At-Home skin care requires only three products. It's simple: Cleanse and moisturize in the morning, cleanse and exfoliate in the evening.

Glytone® In-Office Peels

The Glytone Skin Rejuvenation System begins with a series of superficial chemical peels performed with various concentrations of pure, non-neutralized glycolic acid. Peel strengths begin with a 30% concentration of glycolic acid. Step-up concentrations of 40%, 50%, 60% and 70% are available. By Stepping-up the peels, patients can achieve maximum effect without the painful and inconvenient downtime associated with deeper peels and laser resurfacing.

CLEANSERS

Skin should be thoroughly cleansed, morning and night, before any moisturizer or exfoliator is applied. Glytone provides a variety of cleansers to fit individual needs.

Mild Cream Wash
A blend of conditioners, moisturizers and surfactants, which gently cleans, soothes and lubricates dry and sensitive skin types.

Facial Cleanser
Utilizes the keratolytic qualities of BHA to cleanse and exfoliate the skin.

Mild Gel Wash
Helps lower the pH of normal to oily skin and prepare it for moisturizing

Wipe Away Cleanser
An alcohol-based astringent that cleanses the most oily of skins; also used to remove any excess oils before In-office peels are performed.

MORNING MOISTURIZERS
Glytone Day Creams and Lotions are infused with maximum enrichment, in addition to the highest Glycolic Acid levels in the At-Home regimen. The bioavailable/free acid levels of Glycolic Acid in Glytone have specific effects on the skin. (Bioavailability refers to the amount of acid available to be absorbed by the skin.)

At the 4-6% level, use of Glycolic Acid begins to produce changes in the dermal layer of the skin (the middle of the skin's three layers) and increases production of glucosaminoglycans (GAGs)--the substance used by the skin to build protein.
At the 8-12% level, use of Glycolic Acid causes increased production of collagen--the substance that holds the skin together.
At the 12-15% level, the amount of collagen produced in the skin increases significantly. Elastin, a substance in the skin that allows it to shrink and stretch without wrinkles and stretch marks, also increases.
At the 20% level, Glycolic Acid produces true reversal of sun damage (which is damage to the basal cell) and daily applications will actually reverse the atypical cells that can lead to skin cancer.

Glytone creams and lotions are infused with maximum enrichment to soften the complexion and replenish lost moisture to the skin. Each Glytone moisturizer is available in three levels of increasing AHA strengths, which are to be used in tandem with each Step-up of the Glytone Skin Rejuvenation System. The number indicates the percentage of Glycolic Acid in the product.

Because a long-term Glycolic Acid regimen may cause some dryness, it is very important to moisturize every day to soften the skin and replenish lost moisture. Glytone moisturizers are specifically formulated for all skin types--dry, normal, oily and sensitive. Moisturizers are available in three levels of increasing AHA strengths, to be used in tandem with each Step-up of the Glytone Skin Rejuvenation System. The numbers after the product names indicate the bioavailable/free acid level of Glycolic Acid. Your doctor will recommend the products to use as you Step-up with Glytone.

Day Cream for Dry Skin 1, 2 and 3
A moisturizer best suited to those who don't have or aren't prone to acne breakouts, this cream delivers continual moisturization and soothes irritation. Rich emollients such as Sunflower Oil provide maximum moisturization in an emulsion specifically formulated for dry and very dry skin.

Day Cream for Normal Skin 1, 2 and 3
Formulated with Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride and Dicapryl Ether to soothe irritation while delivering continual moisturization.

Day Cream for Oily Skin 1, 2 and 3
Light and noncomedogenic, this cream fully moisturizes skin without clogging pores and leaves skin smooth and soft. This moisturizer is generally recommended for those who have or are prone to acne.

Day Lotion for Sensitive Skin 1, 2 and 3
Slightly reduced levels of Glycolic Acid are formulated in a soothing base to moisturize the most sensitive skin. Those who prefer a lotion to a cream may want to discuss using Day Lotion with their doctor. All ingredients have been tested and shown to produce little or no irritation to sensitive skin.

EVENING EXFOLIATORS

Exfoliation is essential to the 3-step skin rejuvenation process that makes up the At-Home Skin Care regimen. The exfoliator is recommended for all skin types.

Overnight Facial Fluid 1, 2 and 3

The bioavailable/free acid levels in the Overnight Facial Fluids coordinate with each of the levels of the Step-up program. Overnight Fluids are formulated with the antioxidant Extract of Rosehips with Vitamin C. These Fluids are completely oil free to provide complete absorption and maximum exfoliation, while penetrating deeper than Glytone moisturizers.

Glytone Hydrating Eye Cream
Glycolic Acid in a softening and soothing cream helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It moisturizes and lubricates the area around the eyes and helps smooth away crow's feet.

Glytone Firming Eye Gel
A firming and moisturizing gel gentle enough to use directly under the eye and on the eyelid. It resurfaces the eye area to reduce puffiness and diminishes the appearance of crow's feet, fine lines and wrinkles. Collagen, a major ingredient in Eye Gel, is a natural humectant that will increase skin hydration of the eye area.

Glytone Fading Lotion
Lightens dark (brownish) discolorations in the skin such as age and liver spots. This skin bleaching product is best dabbed on the hands or face twice daily immediately prior to morning and evening application of your recommended moisturizer and exfoliator. This optional step helps to gradually lighten age spots and fade freckles.

Glytone Serious Shave Cream
For tough beards and/or problem skin this Shave Cream provides protection and lubrication. It delivers a clean, close shave as it softens and conditions the skin and helps to reduce or eliminate razor bumps.

Glytone Sunblock SPF 20
Specially formulated for the face, this noncomedogenic sunscreen provides daily protection. It's ideal for use with Glytone Day Moisturizers.
